This is a 14-year-old single malt from Sullivans Cove in Tasmania, matured in a single first-fill American oak ex-bourbon cask, TD0341. The spirit was distilled in December 2008 and the cask was decanted in November 2023. It yielded 218 bottles at 47.1% ABV, and this is bottle 181.
The nose is leathery, with mahogany, fresh timber and meadow notes lifted by exotic fruit. The palate is creamy, with citrus, malted milkshake, caramel and a flicker of smoke. The finish is spiced, with ginger and black pepper.
