Sullivans Cove – American Oak Single Cask Old & Rare 18 Year Old HH0108 (70cl, 48%)

This is an 18 year old Tasmanian single malt from the Sullivans Cove Old & Rare collection, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single American oak ex-bourbon cask, HH0108, which was filled in December 1999 and decanted in May 2018. The outturn was 215 bottles. The nose is butterscotch, peach cobbler and toasted oak with a hint of citrus. On the palate there is vanilla custard, grilled nectarine and soft baking spice. The finish brings honey, dry oak and warming cinnamon.
