Sullivans Cove – American Oak Single Cask Old & Rare 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky HH0107 (70cl, 47.4%)

Sullivans Cove Old & Rare HH0107 is an 18 year old Tasmanian single malt from a single American oak ex-bourbon cask. It was filled in December 1999 and bottled in June 2018 at 47.4%, in a 70cl bottle. Only 208 bottles were drawn, each hand-numbered, as part of the Old & Rare series. The nose offers toffee, ripe peach and warm vanilla with polished oak. On the palate are caramel, nectarine and sweet spice, silky and rounded. The finish is long, with gentle oak tannins, honeyed malt and a hint of nutmeg.
