Sullivans Cove Old & Rare TD0022 is a 19-year-old single cask single malt from Tasmania, part of the Old & Rare series. It was distilled in July 2005, matured in a 300-litre second-fill French oak cask and decanted in August 2024. The cask gave 374 bottles at 47.5%, and this is a 70cl bottle. The second-fill oak lets the fruity character of the distillery's copper still, Myrtle, come through. The bottle comes in a handmade solid oak box with a signed certificate of authenticity. The nose is cumin, mango, pineapple and lavender with beeswax and fruit leather. The palate brings orange chocolate, roasted pineapple, pine nuts and crème brûlée. The finish has brine, roasted capsicum, toasted marshmallow and vanilla wafers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
