Suntory Special Reserve '70 Anniversary is a Japanese whisky launched to commemorate Suntory's 70th anniversary in 1969. It is a limited edition. Suntory is the oldest whisky-making company in Japan. Its origins lie in a small shop started in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro, which specialised in selling imported wines. That shop, opened in 1899, is the starting point the 1969 anniversary looks back to.
