Suntory The Chita is a Japanese single grain whisky, the first of its kind from the House of Suntory. It is matured in a mix of wine, sherry and bourbon casks. The Chita distillery was founded in 1972 on the coast of the Chita peninsula and works mainly with maize.
The nose recalls crème brûlée, cardamom, acacia honey and rose blossom. The palate has mild mint and honey. The finish is clean, with spicy oak and bittersweet touches.
