Suntory Toki Black is a limited-edition blended Japanese whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It draws on the Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries.
What sets this expression apart is the addition of Hakushu Peated malt and Hakushu Grain whiskies, which bring a smoky note to the blend.
The nose is vanilla and honeysuckle, with baked apple, gentle herbal notes, light peat and a touch of salinity. The palate is mellow and medium-bodied, with honey, vanilla, caramel, malted grain and green apple, and peat smoke building slowly. The finish is long and warming, with smoke over oak and gentle spice.
