A single malt from the Hakushu distillery in Yamanashi, Japan, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. This is the Distillers Reserve expression.
Hakushu is described as a green and fresh whisky, shaped by the forests, soft clear water and mountains of the southern Japanese Alps. It grew from the dream of Keizo Saji, the second master blender, of a new kind of whisky.
Its character comes from the four distinct seasons at high altitude.
