This is a single malt from the Yamazaki distillery in Japan, which Shinjiro Torii founded in 1923. It is a selection of whiskies aged in a range of casks and is bottled at 43% ABV. The nose brings ripe fruit, honey and vanilla, with floral and spicy notes behind. The palate is velvety, with tropical fruit, caramel and gentle spice, and a note of smoky oak. The finish is lasting and warming.
