Yamazaki Islay Peated Malt 2024 Edition is a Japanese single malt whisky from Suntory, in a 70cl bottle.
It is amber gold in colour. The nose combines smoky peat, briny sea air and rich malt, with vanilla, dried fruits, oak and spice underneath.
On the palate, smoky peat, toasted barley and honeyed sweetness come with citrus zest and a touch of spice. The finish is long, with smoky notes that linger.
