Super Secret Speyside 2008 17 Year Old (56.5%)

A 17 year old Speyside single malt bottled by Little Brown Dog at 56.5%. It was distilled on 3 December 2008, matured in a first fill bourbon cask and bottled on 16 February 2026. Only 222 bottles were filled. It is the third unnamed Speyside bottling from Little Brown Dog, each from a different distillery. The cask was among the first the company bought. The label is a respectful nod to Ronnie "Red Socks" Cox, who was not involved in this bottling. The nose has toasted brioche, blossom honey and mango sorbet. On the palate come pink grape, watercress and plum compote or chutney. The finish is white chocolate and lemon balm.
