This is a flavoured Canadian whisky from Swear Jar, built on a six-year-old whisky base with real maple syrup added. It takes its inspiration from the Canadian maple donut and is bottled at 35% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose has maple syrup, toffee and butterscotch with dark honey and warm baking spices. The palate is smooth and sweet, with caramel and butterscotch alongside cinnamon heat and peppery spice. The finish is warming, with lingering maple sweetness, caramelised sugar and gentle cinnamon and pepper.
