Tabernero Pisco Acholado (70cl, 40%)

A Peruvian pisco from the Tabernero winery, bottled at 40% vol in a 70cl bottle. It is an acholado, a blend of several grape varieties: Quebranta, Italia and Torontel. The pisco is distilled by artisanal methods intended to keep the aromas of the grapes. The nose is floral and fruity, with delicate hints of spice and aromatic herbs. The palate is soft, balancing sweetness and acidity, and leads to a long, pleasant finish. It can be sipped neat, at room temperature or lightly chilled, or used in a Pisco Sour.
