Tabernero Pisco Mosto Verde Italia (70cl)

This is a Peruvian pisco from Tabernero, made from the Italia grape grown in the country's valleys. It is a mosto verde pisco, which means the wine is distilled before fermentation has finished. Some residual sugar stays in the must, and that gives the spirit a natural sweetness and a more aromatic character. On the nose it shows floral, citrus and exotic fruit notes, with herbal touches and honey. The palate is soft and well balanced, ending in a long, lightly aromatic and spicy finish.
