Tabernero Quebranta is a Peruvian pisco made entirely from Quebranta grapes, a native Peruvian variety. It comes from one of the country's oldest distilleries and carries the house's Red Label.
The grapes are carefully selected and distilled slowly in copper stills, a traditional method that keeps the fruit and the earthy shades of the variety.
The nose shows ripe fruit, plums and berries, with a hint of vanilla and sweet spice appearing after a little time in the glass. The palate is full and harmonious, with persistent fruit and a touch of minerality, leading to a long, warm finish. It can be sipped neat or used in a Pisco Sour.
