This is a cask strength rye from Texas, in a 70cl bottle at 64.5% ABV. It is a little over three years and seven months old. The mash bill is 68% malted rye, 17% rye, 6% corn, 6% wheat and 3% CaraAmber malt. The nose is powerful, with caramel, oak, vanilla and spice. The palate offers round oak, caramel, dark fruit, dark chocolate and a touch of pepper. The finish is long and strong, with rounded oak.
