Taichung Sorghum is a single grain whisky from Taichung Distillery in Taiwan, bottled at cask strength. It is distilled from sorghum rather than one of the four grains usually associated with whisky: corn, rye, wheat and barley. Sorghum is also the base grain of baijiu, the traditional Chinese spirit. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks, rather than the new oak that bourbon requires by law.
