Talisker 10 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 45.8% ABV. It comes from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, built in 1830 by Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill on the shore of Loch Harport.
The flavour is described as maritime bonfire smoke and light peat smoke, with ripe orchard fruit, malt and cask vanilla.
On the palate, malt and dried fruit sit with faint wisps of smoke. The finish is sweet and peppery, with strong smoke and a touch of peat and seaweed.
