Talisker 10 Years Old is a single malt from the Talisker Distillery, bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is golden amber in colour.
The nose combines autumn dried fruit, pear, apple and orange with seaweed, sea salt, cinnamon and spice. The body is medium, firm and creamy, with mineral flavours, a rocky, forceful character and a peppery, spicy edge. There is a hint of peat without smoke.
The finish is long and warming, with hidden touches of moss, marshmallow, lemon, white pepper and orange peel.
