Talisker – 10 Years Old (70cl, 45.8%)

This is Talisker 10 Years Old, a single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery has stood on the Skye coast since 1830. This ten-year-old is the core expression, known for combining peat smoke, black pepper and a salty, sea-air character. Tasting notes describe a fresh, fragrant nose of strong smoke with pear and apple skin, alongside salty notes of herring and kelp. On the palate, peaty sparks like a bonfire meet black pepper, seawater and dried barley, balanced by orchard fruit. The finish is long and warm, with toasted malt and a sugary sweetness.
