Talisker 11 Year Old Special Release 2022 is a whisky from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 55.1%. Its illustration features a luminous sea creature. The whisky matured in bourbon casks before further maturation in first-fill and second-fill wine casks.
Wood smoke, furniture wax, vanilla and lemon shape the nose. The palate combines pepper and sweetness with a touch of tannin, lingering smoke, sweet oak, dried fruit and apricot. A long, peppery finish is softened by caramel sweetness.
