Talisker 11 Year Old is a single malt from the Talisker distillery on the shores of Loch Harport, on the Isle of Skye, where whisky has been made since 1830.
It is matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. The colour is a deep gold.
The mild nose has salty, smoky hints of a beach bonfire. The palate is smoothly oily, sweet and smoky-spicy, salty and fruity. The long finish ends with a chilli-spiced catch of peat.
