Talisker 11 Years Old is the 2022 Special Release, a single malt bottled at 55.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, which give it a rich, oily texture.
The whisky keeps the maritime, rugged character associated with Talisker, with salt and smoke alongside a tempting sweetness. A mix of spices and sweet notes, fruit and pepper is wrapped in layers of smoke and peat.
