Talisker – 1993/2026 32 Year Old Charred American Oak Hogshead Finish (70cl, 58.4%)

This 32 year old Talisker from the Isle of Skye was distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2026 as an original bottling. It was selected for the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import and shown at Whisky Live Germany 2026. Only 156 bottles were filled, at a natural cask strength of 58.4% ABV. It is uncoloured and not chill-filtered. The whisky first matured in refill American oak casks, then moved to a heavily charred American oak hogshead for its finish. The nose shows salty sea air, herbal smoke and mature fruit. On the palate Talisker's pepper meets ripe pear, peach, creamy caramel, vanilla and warm spices. The long finish stays maritime, smoky and pleasantly spicy.
