A 25-year-old single malt from Talisker, in a 70cl bottle at 45.8% ABV.
The nose brings banana fritters, sea spray, old oak furniture and cider apples, with a note of Frazzles and crumbly sugar fudge running through it. On the palate it opens with floral heather and perhaps a touch of rose, then moves to deeper salted caramel, chilli chocolate, smoked barley and nectarines.
The finish is smoky, turns sweet at the end and leaves an undertone of cedar.
