Talisker 8 Year Old Special Release 2020 is a single malt from the Islands, in a 70cl bottle at a natural cask strength of 57.9%.
It is the first Talisker to be finished in pot-still Caribbean rum casks.
The nose offers caramel, with sweetness from the rum finish set against sea salt and dry seaweed on a smoky barbecue base. The finish is dry and smoky, with the chilli pepper character associated with Talisker.
