Talisker – 8 Years Special Release 2021 (70cl, 59.7%)

An 8 year old Talisker from the 2021 Diageo Special Releases. It is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, bottled at natural cask strength of 59.7% in a 70cl bottle. The label describes it as a wild-spirited Scotch with a bold, brine-licked character. The nose is fresh and peppery, with coastal aromas, lime, minerals, truffle and smoke. The palate is firm and oily in texture, with plenty of peat, citrus, oak, salt and spice. The finish is medium in length and smoky.
