This Talisker is a 39-year-old single malt from the Connoisseurs Choice Heritage series, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail. The series honours George Urquhart, who started the original Connoisseurs Choice range in 1968, and the black label revives the design of its early years.
The cask was filled on the Isle of Skye in 1987 and the whisky matured in a refill sherry butt until it was bottled in 2026. It comes at 51.4% ABV, with natural colour and no chill-filtering, and the single cask produced 451 bottles.
