Talisker Parley Wilder Seas is a single malt Scotch from Talisker Distillery, bottled at 48.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is soft and dry, with malt bread, raisins, dates and dried figs over a light chalky mineral note. Brine, sea salt and a touch of pipe tobacco follow, and a little water brings out smoke.
The palate is creamy and smooth, starting richly sweet before turning salty, smoky and fruity, with sultana and fig wrapped in peppery spice. The finish is long, warm and slightly dry, with a late peppery note and a smoky, fruity aftertaste.
