Talisker – Port Ruighe (70cl, 45.8%)

Talisker Port Ruighe is a single malt from the Isle of Skye distillery, bottled at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in port casks. The expression joined the range in 2013. The port finish recalls the 19th century, when Talisker was matured in port casks, and the name comes from the main trading port on Skye. It is described as combining the distillery's coastal, maritime character, with gentle smoke and pepper, alongside the sweetness of rich berry fruits.
