Talisker Skye is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, in a 70cl bottle at 45.8% ABV. The distillery was founded on the island in 1831 by the MacAskill brothers.
In 1960 a fire destroyed its stills. They were replaced with new ones, built with great care to match the old so that the taste of the whisky would be kept. Talisker is distilled twice.
