Talisker Skye is a single malt from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is a vatting of whisky matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks, including re-charred bourbon casks. The colour is a warm gold.
The nose is described as fine smoke, maritime sweetness and lively fruit, with ripe citrus. On the palate come juicy orange, fresh lemon, malt and lemon cake, followed by ginger, pepper and a touch of smoke.
