Talisker Skye is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was introduced in early 2015 as a tribute to the island's landscape, from its soft shores to the jagged Cuillin peaks.
The whisky is matured in a mix of refill and toasted American oak casks, with slightly more toasted casks than refill.
It is described as sweet and well rounded, with fresh orange, soft mango, sweet smoke, pepper and the maritime character of Talisker. The finish is long and warming, ending on a peppery note.
