Talisker Skye is a single malt from the Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit is distilled in pot stills and matured in a mix of refill and new toasted American oak casks.
On the nose it shows sea salt, caramel and vanilla, with hints of fresh fruit and light spice. The palate brings a gentle smokiness, orange and lemon, and sweet spice in the form of cinnamon and ginger.
The finish is smooth and long, with smoke and salt coming forward and the sweet, spiced notes lingering.
