This is the 2023 Special Release from Talisker, a single malt called The Wild Explorador, bottled at 59.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in American oak casks and was then finished in ruby, white and tawny port casks. It has a deep golden colour.
The nose combines smoke, sea salt, red berries, vanilla and spice. On the palate come peat smoke, pepper, citrus and honey.
