Talisker – Storm (70cl, 45.8%)

Talisker Storm is a single malt from the Isle of Skye, in a 70cl bottle at 45.8% ABV. The label describes it as powerful and smoky, with brooding spice, and gives 1830 as the year the distillery was established. It carries no age statement and was finished in bourbon barrels. The nose is firm, with malt, ripe red fruit, smoke and pepper. The palate is round, leaning on smoke, spice and nuts, and the finish is medium in length and dry, with a touch of peat smoke.
