Talisker Surge is a single malt Scotch whisky from Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye, in a 70cl bottle at 45.8% ABV.
It is aged in American oak refill casks and rejuvenated casks, which are heavily charred to bring out smoke, spice and sea salt.
The flavour is rich and complex, with peat smoke, dark chocolate, black pepper and dried fruit, followed by a long, warming finish.
