Talisker Surge is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Skye distillery, first made for travel retail and now sold more widely. It is bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration but with added colouring.
It matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks.
Its maritime, smoky base character is joined by sweeter notes from the bourbon wood, such as vanilla and caramel.
Tasting Notes
Maritime and smoky, with vanilla and caramel
