Talisker The Distillers Edition 2022 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Talisker distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 45.8% ABV. It is a deep amber colour with a slightly viscous look in the glass.
The nose is pungent, with fresh sea air and seaweed, followed by richer, very smoky notes of toasted malt and sweet sultanas. The palate is robust, oily and smooth, both smoky and salty, with sweet fruit wrapped in peat and salt and a little chilli that softens over time. The finish is long and powerful, sweet and dry together, with lingering peat smoke and cocoa.
