Talisker – X Parley Wilder Seas (70cl, 48.6%)

Talisker X Parley Wilder Seas is a single malt from Talisker, made in collaboration with the environmental organisation Parley for the Oceans, which works to protect and restore the marine environment. Talisker supports Parley with a contribution from every bottle, and the whisky comes in a bottle made entirely from recycled material. It is the first Talisker matured in French oak casks that previously held XO Cognac. It is bottled at 48.6% in a 70cl bottle, as a limited special edition. The character is maritime, with spice and smoky depth, and a ripe, fruity sweetness rising from beneath.
