Talisker – X Parley Wilder Seas (70cl, 48.6%)

A limited edition single malt from Talisker on Skye, made with Parley and bottled at 48.6% in a 70cl bottle. The release aims to raise awareness and funds for the Talisker x Parley mission to re-wild more than 100 million square metres of ocean forest. The bottle is made from 100% recycled glass, produced using biofuel. The nose is mild, the feel dry, and the whisky rich overall. Malt bread with raisins, dates and dried figs sits over a chalky mineral note, then brine, salt crystals and ship's timber, with a light, winey fruit base and a touch of pipe tobacco. A little water brings out a smoky note.
