Tamdhu 18 Year Old is a limited-edition Speyside single malt, matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks made from a mix of European and American oak. It is bottled at 46.8% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The maturation brings dried fruit, chocolate and warming spice, balanced by orchard fruit and a nutty sweetness.
The nose offers cherries, plums, orange zest, honey-baked oats and hazelnut milk chocolate. On the palate come crunchy apple, ginger, cinnamon and vanilla, with a rich sherry character running through.
