This is a Speyside single malt from Tamdhu, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of The MacPhail's Collection, at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 1971 and bottled in 2013, after more than 40 years in a refill sherry butt. The nose brings vanilla, antique furniture, dried fruit and grapes. On the palate it is creamy, with fruit, oak, tea, dark chocolate and spice. The finish is medium in length, with fruit and raisins.
