A single cask 15 year old Tamdhu from Speyside, distilled in 2007 and bottled in late 2022 by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular series. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 48.4% ABV. The whisky was matured in a refill hogshead, cask DL16481, which produced 383 bottles. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration. The nose opens with green apple peel that turns nutty, with milk chocolate and spice. The palate is oily and thick, with malt, burnt brown sugar and toasted, buttered brioche. The long finish brings dried apricot, charred oak and a buttery note.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
