This is an 11 year old Tamdhu, distilled on 1 July 2013 and bottled in spring 2025 in Claxton's Warehouse No. 1 series. It matured in a fresh Oloroso sherry hogshead, and 283 bottles were filled.
The nose is buttery and creamy, with hints of vanilla and caramel pudding tarts, marzipan and sugar glaze. The palate brings intense oak and spice, more vanilla and shortbread, with a pleasant maltiness. Oak lingers in the aftertaste, and the finish carries a touch of spiced caramel pudding.
