This is a 9 year old Tamdhu single malt, bottled by Claxton's for its Warehouse No. 8 series. It was distilled on 1 July 2013 and matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry octave until it was bottled in autumn 2023. The release produced only 69 bottles. The nose has sweet biscuit, brandy and a touch of fudge liqueur. On the palate, fudge and biscuit return with sweet oak and spice. The finish is long and gently sweet, with malty notes and bittersweet oak.
