This is a 34 year old Tamdhu single malt from Speyside, distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2024 by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It is a single cask, matured in a refill American hogshead, number 12881, and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose offers lemon peel and green apple with the spice of Brazil nuts. Orange and lemon on the palate meet honeycomb, ripe banana and a hint of aniseed, and the long finish fades on soft brown sugar.
