Tamdhu Batch Strength Batch 7 is the seventh release in the distillery's Batch Strength series. It is a Speyside single malt matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. It is bottled at natural cask strength and has a deep copper colour and a full-bodied character. The nose brings cinnamon, oak and vanilla sponge. The palate is sweet, nutty and richly textured, with berries, roasted nuts and caramel, plus hints of citrus and warming spice. The finish is long. A small splash of water is said to bring out brighter fruit notes.
