Tamdhu – Batch Strength Batch No. 8 (70cl, 55.8%)

Tamdhu Batch Strength Batch No. 8 is a Speyside single malt from an annual batch strength series. It is matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, with a high proportion of first-fill wood. It is bottled at 55.8% in a 70cl bottle, non chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose has nutty oak, vanilla, honeycomb and dried fruit, with cinnamon, clove and orange peel. The palate is full-bodied, with summer berries, candied lemon peel, praline and soft oak spice. The finish is long and sherried, with polished oak, spice, ripe figs and citrus zest.
