Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction Release 1 is a limited-edition Speyside single malt made to show the influence of first-fill American oak Oloroso sherry casks. The casks were specially crafted, and the release celebrates Quercus Alba, American white oak, with a brighter and sweeter oak character. The nose opens with cinnamon and vanilla, balanced by ripe cherry and lively citrus. On the palate come plum, dates and chocolate, with gentle oak spice and golden syrup sponge.
